Find someone that used to affect you deeply and reconnect with them. Allow yourself to remember those times when the two of you had that unique bond, and the way just being in his or her presence used to make you feel.
Being fully alive means having to tap into our souls every now and then. And one of the best ways to do that is to go and find someone that made an impact upon us.
Old coaches that used to roar in the locker rooms. Former girlfriends that would joke about our faults the way no one else was able. Old neighbors from the old neighborhood.
Former teachers and classmates and band mates.
Everyone has a list.
A tap-into list.
To find someone that used to make you more alive is a wonderful opportunity to get out of your own head and the moment you find yourself in, is a spiritual process that has nothing to do with religion and EVERYTHING to do with you connecting with people who left their fingerprint upon your life.
And if your attempt to find someone take you to the whiz bang world of the internet (where you just happen to be right now, silly) then my strongest recommendation is to NOT be led to believe that everyone is out there looking to help you find someone out of the goodness of their hearts.
In fact, there are a lot of bad types out there trying to monetize your feelings.
My attitude is this: DO NOT ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN.
Stick with those things that you find that are genuine and real (exactly like the people you are trying to find!!!)
