Incredible Memory Makers: The Four Simple Steps To Creating And Opening The Door To Your Loved Ones.

Tim Lassig

Everybody has special people in their lives. It might be your children, your parents, your siblings, your best friends, close family friends we all have our special loved ones. Its imperative that we save and preserve the memories that we have with these important people. Not only is it a wonderful gift to us to relive details as we save them, but also it becomes a beautiful part of our family history that will help our children understand our important relationships. The four steps that you can use to actually do this are:

1. Create special profiles for loved ones. A special profile is basically a place where you would put important details. Record names, birthdays, relationships and how these people fitted into your life. Were they family friends or was it your best friend? Record a rich depth of information here so that it conjures up wonderful memories for you, and so your future generations can really get an insight into who these people were and how they were special to you.

2. Have a visual system to show how your loved ones fitted into your life. Have a system whereby you can create a family tree style matrix or a way of viewing your different loved ones and how they were related to you in your life. It needs to be something easy to do, and be located in the same place where these profiles are found. This system needs to be a way that your children, grandchildren or great grandchildren are able to see who the special people in your life were and how they fitted into your life even if you arent there.

3. You need a system to bookmark amazing photos and videos to define these relationships. You need a simple system, preferably on your computer, where you can not only create these profiles and visual views but you can also bookmark special images and video so that you can look back and easily collate this information. Use it for a special occasion, or to help future generations see these people in action with you and how theyre related.

4. Keep it safe. No-one will be able to enjoy this wonderful door into your life if its lost. You need to have a simple, regular backup system in addition to an automated system, so that it automatically backs up even if you forget to back up your memories. Thats very important otherwise, you could lose all your memories and nobody will get a chance to look through this doorway into your life.

If you follow these four steps, not only will you be able to look back at the special loved ones in your life and celebrate those relationships, but your future generations will have this amazing door into your experiences and your life. Youll be proud of what you did and who you did it with, and you will have this beautiful treasure chest full of memories that will become a powerful legacy of your life and something to celebrate in your future years.
