Wireless Intercom - No More Wire Trouble With Chamberlain RWIS

Reagan Senoron

Wireless intercom - Searching for a wireless portable 1000 ft. range intercom system that requires no wires or wall plugs? And an intercom that is simple to use with digital voice quality and allows up to 10 separate conversations at the same time? You'll get all of that with Chamberlain's RWIS that has 4 voice channels with the power for individual private conversations without disruption or disturbance from other channels. The RWIS operates on 4 AA batteries with an average 2-year battery life and additional features such as hands-free answering, broadcast paging, and monitor mode with battery life.

What others say

Excellent product. Put in power supplies on two units for no delay talking. For the cost it is a great unit. It is a good thing Radio Shack cut off their FRS intercom device because this device now has 100% of the FRS intercom market at a fraction of the price. External intercom device makes a great addition! - Larry L. Gregory

This is a great product. It works well in every portion of our house and even works well several hundred feet away from the house. There have been no troubles with disturbance. Other intercoms we've utilized have disturbance from our neighbors even though they're located several hundred feet away. It's very convenient to have a wireless intercom that you can simply move to other areas in the house as needed. - Chrisitan H. Gunther

I gave the intercoms to my aging hard-of-hearing parents for Christmas. I preferred the wireless intercoms over the type that utilize electrical cables because I think they would be more flexible to use and I read so many horror stories about how the other type went bad without paying really big bucks for a professional system. My parents took the gift with a smile but I knew that anything electronic would require a lesson to use. Together we opened the package, powered them up and after reading 3 sentences off the instructions everything ran perfectly - J. Helm

I purchased 3 units and they operate well for us. I have two units in kid's bedrooms on AC power and the 3rd in the kitchen on batteries for portability. The voice is clear and installation and use is very simple. The most beneficial thing about these units is the VOX answer option. I have this option switched on in the children's room and they just have to reply back when I speak to them first without having to press the "talk" button. This is very convenient when you are talking to a 3 yr. old that doesn't quite understand how to utilize this. I tied a large, very thin magnet on the back of my kitchen device and I keep it on my ref but I can take it with me to other areas of the house if needed. - Gadget Mom

I believe this is a great product. Unlike other intercom systems I've purchased this one is wireless and the voice is crystal-clear. - Chandra Bright
