Sitting in Luxury in a First Class Flight
Jonathan Kittley
Flying in the first class section is a luxurious experience. We all can't afford to fly at this level but those who can without doubt understand just how good they have it. You are treated like royalty. The services provided in first class are exceptional and the amenities are superb. The reclining seats provide luxurious comfort giving you expanded room for legs and feet and plenty of elbow room.
There are some ways you can decrease the first class fare and that is by starting your plans early on and booking early. Booking early offers many advantages. For one, you get a discounted rate and second, your seat is certainly guaranteed. An additional option is shopping around for a reduced first class flight.
You can get the most up-to-date and affordable deals online by utilizing travel search engineers like Orbitz, Expedia and Travelocity, just to name a few. And when and if you do locate that great deal, grab it immediately. Rates can change quickly, with each airline within minutes. Do not forget to test out the websites of each individual airline carrier, particularly those that do not provide their rates on these travel search sites. Their rates might be listed in their own airline site. You can also call up the airline carrier and give them different scenarios to search by. Provide different days and times that you are willing to fly. This can reduce your ticket drastically.
If you think the only amenity of flying first class is the luxury of the ride, think again. Some airlines provide wonderful and useful gifts when traveling first class. A handy pack including assortments of lip balms, mouth wash, lotions and moisturizer may be provided for your comfort. You may even get a slumber mask or socks.
You are likely to obtain additional amenities when traveling on international flights or longer routes. The provisions, specifically the food are also much better than in an economy class.
Frequent flyers are also in a class by themselves. Collect the miles and upgrade to a first class flight. Again, for this upgrade, you need to collect enough miles and then get a better ticket in return. There are some airlines that do not charge high rates as the major airline carriers do. You can check these airlines and compare rates.
If you can afford the rates, you must strive to fly in first class; it's a memorable experience. You'll be treated like royalty and you will undoubtedly take pleasure in the services and conveniences offered.
