How to Make Money From the Air

Damian Ray

*** Simple Explanation of basic concepts of Network Marketing. ***

My friend spoke to one of her friends recently, telling him about a Network Marketing company that we both work with. I've been with this company for a while and I already produced great results and my friend just signed up and she's going through the training.

What that man told her, as soon as she opened her mouth, was, "Oh, I know all those companies. I signed up for one of them, paid five thousand dollars and didn't make any money in my first month."

So, he decided to quit after one month of not seeing any results and now he is looking for something that doesn't require any initial investment, because he doesn't want to lose money again.

Honestly, this was the silliest explanation of person's failure that I've ever heard. And the most interesting thing is that majority of people think the same way.

So, I decided to explain you some things that you are misled with.

First of all, the very simple and the very basic thing, that many people don't understand though, is that Network Marketing is a commission based business. It means that there's always some product and people earn commissions by selling this product.

The very important thing is that in most cases you, as a distributor, are suppose to use this product and like it. For example, I'm personally not interested in skin care products so I shouldn't work with a Network Marketing company that is producing and selling such product (in fact, it would be unethical and very close to "illegal"). But I'm into Self-Education, so I work with the company that sells amazing Financial Education kit for all the people who want to educate themselves in the area of finances. I bought that educational course and I absolutely loved it. I paid only a fracture of money that I would have to pay if I would take same set of courses in any university. And because I know how great this product is, because I know all the benefits of this product, - I can explain it to other people who are interested in this kind of things.

(But also, as I wrote in my previous articles, I'm using all the automatization that my company created for us, and technically I'm not selling anything to anyone directly. My company sells it for me. But I don't want to talk about it today.)

My point is, - you sell a product and you earn commissions on every sale. And this is how it works.

Now tell me, how much will you earn if you give this product for free?

Got it?

Approximately a month ago one person contacted me and asked me to take a look at the company that he was working with. He said, "It's all free, - free information, free sign up, free training, free account... ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING IS FREE!"

So, I went to his website and I really saw that I don't have to pay any money to start this business. But do you know what I found when I started watching their training videos?

First, I have to buy a hosting and pay $20 per month and that person gets commissions from me. (For your information, regular hosting account with CGI/PERL/PHP/MySQL support usually costs 6-7 bucks per month and you shouldn't pay more.)

Second, I have to buy a website and again - that person gets commissions.

And so on and so forth.

Are you calling it "Zero investment?" I call is "Someone is trying to trap me by not giving me all the information from the beginning."

Another thing that I noticed is, - they have 22 income sources, all of them are approximately like those two ones that I just described. And I felt myself like a teenager who will have to try to make 5 bucks here, 10 bucks there.

It's not even worth all the effort, don't you think? So, what's my point? My point is, - you pay Zero, you get Zero. It's simple as that.

And another thing about "not getting any result in a month." Guys, come on, what are you, 5 years old? Same equation works here: you put Zero effort, you get Zero result. You have to be persistent and goal-oriented if you want to succeed in ANYTHING in your life. I'm not saying that you have to work hard. I personally think that if you work hard then you're probably doing something wrong. Instead you have to work WISE. And you have to put SOME effort and energy into your dreams.

I love the word "Leverage."

In the end I would like to repeat one of my favorite sayings: There's only one free thing in this world and it's cheese in a mousetrap.

Take care, everyone. Damian Ray http://www.sensevision.net
