Styles have changed drastically and in recent years even furniture from the 1960s and even the early 1970s is considered to be antique now. If its from the early 1800s on it can be purchased for a reasonable price and it blends well with modern furniture in a home or office. Antique furniture from this era can easily run into the hundreds of thousands of dollars for even just a chair.
