More than half a million of different types of threats attack your PC every single day. No one is secured from computer diseases for 100%. If you dont have a good securing, a system crash is unavoidable. A good defence now should be able to protect computer from absolutely different types of menaces. The only sure way to fight with all these threats is to create new security system.
Doubtless, the fundamentally new security system has been needed for a long time already. Drastic security system is the only trustworthy measure that should be taken. Malicious programs have to prevented, because thats the only category of trustworthy protection today. Threats like rootkits and privacy breakers are wide-spread problems present days and they should meet the programs that can fight with them. Harmful activity prevention is the only way to keep your Windows system from crashes.
UAC is the system that was created with the aim of systems security and users' comfort. Microsoft Windows UAC scans your computer essentials and doesn't allow any changes without administrator permission. User Account Control is a fundamentally new security system that contains several security subsystems. Endless warning messages make UAC system at least as irritating as some of the spywares are. The most irksome problem is that UAC can't remember user's choice, so it is needed to click "Continue" over and over again for the most popular applications to be allowed.
This new security system has given so many promises but now it's just a disappointment for lots of tired users. Due to the number of alerts UAC shows for "legal" programs, a lot of Windows users want to turn User Account Control off. Unfortunately, some minuses of the User Account Control system spoil all the pluses. There are some obvious problems that every UAC user faces, such as irritating endless warning messages. The fact is that people have learned to click "OK" button at UAC warnings even without reading them.
Besides, there is an opinion that User Account Control slows down some software. To disable User Account Control with the help of Control Panel simply open it and uncheck "Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer" in its security settings. Disabling User Account Control with the help of MSCONFIG utility is easy as a pie, because all you need is just a click near "Disable UAC". As a matter of fact, there are several ways to disable UAC system. To turn off User Account Control simply run Regedit, find the appropriate registry key and give it a value of 0.
Using MSCONFIG utility is a well-known way to turn off the User Account Control system. In spite of its irritating messages, User Account Control system is a type of shield for Windows Vista that makes it more stable. The fact is that you leave your operating system without any preventive securing if you disable UAC. Disabling User Account Control negates all the advantages of having such menace prevention system in your PC. Moreover, disabling UAC leaves you without any support in setting up your system and that could lead to serious damages.
Switching off the UAC is not a good idea even if you have an anti virus and an anti spyware. Don't even think of turning off UAC or paying no attention to it if you're a common user without any other security system.
