GBG 10-in-One For Prevention

Philip Fudge

A young man age 14 was enjoying being a teenager in sunny California. He had a paper route and delivered those papers before sunrise, riding his bicycle and throwing papers.

One day during the summer, he became a little sick, blaming the illness on the watermelon he ate on the 4th of July with his family and some friends. The illness just would not go away, but he hid it from his parents for several months.

After starting high school, the illness became worse and often the young man had to leave school and walk home, still not knowing what was wrong. He soon became bed-ridden. His parents took him to several doctors, but nothing seemed to work. The sickness got worse.

Finally he was taken to a specialist. The specialist told his parents that if they didnt get him in a hospital immediately he would only last another 3 days. So his parents had the specialist contact the hospital and have him admitted that same day.

The young man, in his prime, was so sick, but still had a good attitude, even with the IVs and the drawing of blood every day. Through all the tests and needle pricks he maintained his good attitude. He didnt know that his parents had been told he had leukemia, too, and he may not make it out of the hospital. He just had his schoolbooks brought to him and lived one day at a time.

The days turned into weeks. He was allowed to go home for Thanksgiving Day and then had to return to the hospital. One day, during one of the blood sample tests, the doctors were perplexed. The sample came back OK, no leukemia. They drew more blood just to make sure. Those came back good, too. After spending 6 weeks in the hospital, the young man was able to go home. The illness he had was colitis and he would have to live with it for many years to come, taking several different kinds of medicine several times a day.

Now we will move ahead 13 years. The young man had grown up, gotten married and had 2 young daughters and a career. One day during a regular check-up and biopsy, the doctor told the man he had developed a tumor in the large intestine and it looked like it was cancerous. Tests proved it to be cancer, so surgery was scheduled.

The surgery took a couple of hours and was successful. The tumor had been removed and there were no signs of the cancer being in any of the lymph nodes. He still had to live with having to know where the closest restroom was everywhere he went. It was like living in a prison of his own body. Other complications developed. He was given a week to live, two weeks to live, but he just took his prescriptions and continued being the husband, father and career worker he had been

Five years later, during a surgery to take out some polyps, the surgeon found another tumor, one he couldnt see during the outpatient tests. The tumor was cancerous. While on the operating table, the mans wife had to make the decision whether to continue with the procedure he had signed to have or to remove the tumor, leaving the man with an ostomy for the rest of his live. The option given her was to continue and have him around for maybe a year or do the ostomy surgery. She chose to keep him around for a while.

Now, the same man, several years later, was taken to the emergency room from his place of employment. Tests were run, including x-rays. He went home after they couldnt determine what was happening and he returned to work. The morning he returned to work, his doctor called him and told him to be in the hospital early the next morning. He had found some spots on one of his lungs and it did not look good.

He was admitted to the hospital once again to go through a new battery of tests. One included a lung biopsy. The man was put on the floor with terminal patients; everyone was dying to get out. His doctor called early the morning after the biopsy, before the mans wife, family and friends had arrived. The doctor said the results of the tests were positive for lung cancer. The man just told the doctor he was wrong and left it there.

A few minutes later his wife, in-laws and friends arrived and asked if he had heard from the doctor. When he told them what the doctor had said, several broke down crying. The man just said the doctor was wrong. The doctor had a nurse working for him that was a close friend of the man and his family. She called the lab that did the tests and told them to check again.

The doctor called the mans hospital room a little later and asked if the man had been in any caves lately. He had a type of fungus not known to the area where he lived and was usually developed from going into caves. The doctor said the fungus would go away on its own and the man could go home.

Some people would call some of the events miracles. I dont know, but I do know the power of pray works. You see, I am that man. Over the years I have been given days and weeks to live. I wasnt supposed to make it past the age of 30. Here I am, 56 years old, retired from my career as a police sergeant and successful. I have often wondered why. Why was I spared so many times? I hope it was to make a difference in someones life, to be a good influence on someone. Whatever it is, I know that prayer works as many people were praying for me from California, to Alabama, Florida and other places in this world.

I have also been keeping myself healthy by taking preventive measures. I have had more surgeries than I care to remember, but now I take a liquid vitamin/mineral complex called 10-in-One formula. It has kept me healthier for several years now without having to even visit a doctor. You, too, need to care for your body. Join my wife and me in this opportunity as a customer or a business owner.
