The new VW is a sleek hatchback that sits slightly lower to the ground than previous years which lowers the center of gravity for improved handling. The new Myrtle Beach VW will feature a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine which produces 200 horsepower to the front wheels through the standard six-speed manual transmission. The new Volkswagen GTI can accelerate 0 to 60 in seven seconds flat. A six-speed quick-shifting clutchless manual transmission which Volkswagen calls Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) is also available at Myrtle Beach VW and can achieve better performance and fuel economy than the base manual transmission.

If the new Volkswagen GTI isn't fast enough for you, then check out the new R32. This Volkswagen is a two-door, 250-horsepower 3.2-liter V6, DSG all-wheel-drive speedster. This VW sports bigger wheels, bigger brakes with blue calipers and a sport-tuned suspension. The new Volkswagen R32 can propel itself to 60 mph from a standstill in 6.2 seconds.
Sporty Interior
The stylish VW interior features a cabin with aluminum trim on the instrument panel and shift knob all complemented by alloy pedals and "Heritage" fabric inspired by the original 1983 GTI. Customers have the option to upgrade to partially powered leather seats and the torso-hugging Recaro brand seats embossed with the GTI logo.
Standard Equipment
Standard equipment for the new Myrtle Beach VW includes everything from power windows and air conditioning to a full suite of safety features including anti-lock brakes, traction control, stability control and side-impact and side-curtain airbags. The five-door GTI features rear side-impact airbags.
The Volkswagen TDI boasts a 10-speaker audio system with six-disc CD changer now comes with satellite radio.
VW GTI rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in summer tires and the option of upgrading to available 18-inch wheels is impressive.
