When you have a passion - you should immerse it into your everyday habits

A key to delightful dining is to set aside at least an hour, once a week, to truly sit down and enjoy a meal.Set the atmosphere for relaxation with wine, beautiful music and soft lighting or make reservations for your favourite restaurant.Saver a good bottle of wine. Allow the aroma to take you away to a vineyard in Italy or a wine cellar in France. Drink it slowly and enjoy each smooth refreshing sip. Cap off your night with the most decadent dessert you can think of. Allow the chocolate or a creamy crme brulee to melt deliciously on your tongue. Linger over it and make it last. Then wash it down with the best coffee or espresso you can find.
A particularly full-bodied Vernaccia from San Gimignano (several vintages come to mind) might be quite delicious with some of the more spicy, Tuscan cured hams.
Wines should be drunk in the following order: first the light, delicately flavoured whites, then the more aromatic whites, ross and lastly the reds, starting with the lighter and proceeding to more full-bodied.
It is surprising that in this day and age when we would all like to be thinner and trimmer. That the popularity of desserts and all sweet things is on the increase. This is very reassuring to me because who in there right mind would throw away something that gives so much happiness and something which can be so delicious in it flavors and aromas. A dessert of some kind is surely the fitting end to a meal. The preparation of cakes, brulees, pastries takes patience and time and you might not get it right the first time but believe me the rewards are delightful in the long run
The apple a day keeps the doctor away, an age old adage holds a lot of truth and we are all too aware of how a good diet goes hand in hand with a healthy body. However there has been much research into how certain foods, and the ways in which they are consumed can help to fight various illnesses. Of all of the claims that have been made one of my firm favourites, and one in which I for one like to believe is steeped in factuality is the ingenious suggestion that cooking with olive oil and drinking red wine may help you live longer, and that a Mediterranean style diet can be the key to an extended and healthy life.
A restaurateur should be passionate about food. You might think that's obvious, but not everyone in the food industry loves food as much as they should do. Everything on the menu should be hand-prepared in a purpose-built, state-of -the-art kitchen, which gives them lots of space to get creative!
