Bingo - I Dont Get It

Apart from the game that I dont quite understand, the term bingo has been used as an emphasis to finding an answer, or approval of one  either way. In this context though, I do not have an answer, and I wouldnt even be fit to approve one. What Im talking about is this game bingo or Bingo  I hope you can see how little I know about the game; I dont even know if its spelt with a capital letter or not&is it even a game I wonder&

Let me see what I know about bingo/Bingo besides the word having been used as an approval for an answer. One thing I know for a fact about bingo/Bingo is that the patrons (or target market) are super old; I think all stations have No under 80s allowed  walking sticks will be checked as one of the stipulations in their Right of admission reserved clause.

Apart from the things mentioned above, I know nothing about this bingo/Bingo. But my sudden curiosity has been sparked by what I heard  apparently you can play this bingo/Bingo online. And the most bizarre thing about it is that so many people are actually playing it. But whats more bogus is that of the people who are playing it online, senior citizens are still majority. Make no mistake though, when I say bogus or bizarre, I am by no means trying to get a role in Boswell Willkies circus  old people are not to be made fun of. 90% of senior citizens know little about anything concerning the internet, and as far as Im concerned, they couldnt be bothered less. Then along comes this game or lottery (whatever its supposed to be) and all of a sudden every senior citizen is asking if ADSL works on typewriters  if thats not bogus, then I dont know what is.

So how does this bingo/Bingo work? I have no idea. And now that its on the internet; I dont know whether it will be easier for me to educate myself about it. The reason I have been so apathetic about it may be because of those overcrowded bingo/Bingo stations they normally show on TV; the ones that look like a Chinese textile factory, the difference being the people occupying it have a combined age of one million thousand. I wonder if bingo/Bingo was ever really anything either than one big social meeting where senior citizens get together and reminisce about the good old days. For all I know this online bingo could be some sort of social networking site where our forefathers share black and white pictures and tell raunchy stories from the 30s.

I used to think bingo/Bingo was just an excuse for old people to get out of the house (which is not a bad thing by the way) Now that its online and theyre dominating the World Wide Web& I dont know; didnt getting out of the house add a few years to their life? You decide. Im going to find out more about this bingo/Bingo business.
