Atlantic City Hotels Offer Discount To Veterans

The sentiment all over the country seems to be in favor of our Armed Forces and their families, and its great to see that. Our armed forces work hard and risk their lives for us and the least we could do for them is let them and their families live a good convenient life while they are in the country.
In Atlantic City, this sentiment appears especially strong, owing to the large number of New Jersey residents in the armed forces. Some businesses are using this as an opportunity for some PR and extending offers to veterans and military families. At Atlantic City dot com, we welcome such measures. Pyramid Hotel Group, a Boston-based company recently announced that they would honor the nation's current and former U.S. Armed Forces men, women and their families by offering special internet lodging rate for weekend vacation stays. They also announced concessional lodging rates for active and retired Military Families.
They are calling this promotion the Service Salute. Thorough this service, military members and their families can stay at 25 percent off of the government rate at any one of Pyramid Hotel Group's 35 premier hotels nationwide. Destinations include Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Denver, San Francisco and Washington, DC. The autumn Service Salute program runs weekends from September 5, 2008 through November 22, 2008.
In order to be eligible for this discount, martial personnel must present a valid and current government ID card at the time of booking. A "dependent" identification card is required for family members traveling separately from the military card holder.

The greatest part about this Service Salute is, for those who could not visit Pyramid Hotel Group properties this summer; they are looking forward to continue their support by bringing this program forward into the autumn and holiday months.
