Will You Choose To Live Your Purpose? Legends and Legacies.

Self empowerment is knowing that you are living your purpose!

I was standing beside one of our local restaurants, where Jimmy the restauranteur ran one of his many successful establishments. Unfortunately this past week while holidaying in his home country Greece, Jimmy passed away of a heart attack.

Fortunately for him, he passed away while doing something he loved and surrounded once again by his loved ones.

Two weeks ago we had another legend leave this physical plane  his name was Randy Pausch. Now you may have seen clips of Randy on You Tube or on Oprah because hes recently been known for his last lecture.

Randy was a university professor and as tradition goes a last lecture is the last message, a professor leaves to his students. At times, the message is one that touches upon personal growth, transformation, and the importance of self-mastery.

This lecture as a last lecture was a little different because Randy was still a young man in his prime. He knew that he had pancreatic cancer and was about to depart this physical earth, and leave behind his three young sons.

Here you have two legends, one who was in his 40s and one who was in his 70s. One individual was a young man and one an older gentleman. One man knew he was about to die and the other didnt know his time had come.

For most of us, we will not get that warning sign that our time here on Earth is coming to an end. We probably wont have the gift of time to then decide what kind of legacy we want to leave, and what is the last message we want our loved ones to have.

This brings me to the point I want to make today - I believe there are two critical days in your life, the day you are born and the day you discover why. We each have coded in us a unique message, a purpose to live, something that needs to be expressed to the world so that the world can be a richer and more complete place.

There will only be one you that comes through on this earth journey. So my question for you today is - What is the legacy that you want to leave? What is the story you want to tell? What is it that you want to be, do and have? Will you choose to discover your purpose, and use your inner power to express your unique talents and gifts?

Whatever you want to Be, know that you have the power within you to live your purpose. It is never too late, and you are never too old.
