Japan launches a new spy satellite
Adrian Rodriguez
Spy satellite Japan introduced yet another spy satellite in space today, in the support to heighten its technical capabilities in independently gathering all it’s required material.
This was Japan’s fifth spy satellite in space and is believed to be as efficient as its previous highly advanced satellites. This 565 million USD satellite released off for its space operation in a domestically developed Japanese H-2A rocket. The satellite in the rocket got inaugurated from a space center located in the southern island of Tanegashima. The material about the establishing of the satellite was provided by an executive spokes person of the cabinet office, Hisashi Michigami.
Michigami said, “The satellite will gather intelligence for our protection and diplomatic intention”. Over some years, Japan had been dependent on the satellites of the United States of America for its intelligence. But, to mark its development and also be autonomous in accomplishing all the vital material, it inaugurated its first pair of intelligence spy satellites into space in the year 2003. These first spy satellites were introduced over the concern of North Korea’s missile course.
It was back in 1998 when North Korea surprised the complete world by test firing a missile over Japan. And, it was this occasion that actually made Japan create its own spy satellites to mind over the activities in North Korea. Moreover, recently this year in April, a long range rocket projected and made by North Korea just flew over Japan and later landed deep in the Pacific Ocean. And hence, it is these reasons that Japan is forced to launch all its space spy satellites, one after the other.
