Great Tips For Effective Brochure Template And Printing

Janice Jenkins

Creating a brochure is part of any business marketing effort. A well designed brochure printing that is printed professionally can be worth more than its cost. Knowing what your printing provider is looking for can help you to print brochure templates that will save you time and not to mention money.

Here then are great tips to help you prepare your brochure templates for effective brochure printing:

Consider your size.

Knowing what size you intend to print for your brochures will lessen the time and aggravation for both you and your printer whenever you are working on the brochure prints. You might not know it, but giving your print provider with the wrong setup size for the brochure is a lot more challenging than your printer would have bargained for. Often, a print layout has to be returned just because it was not set up in the correct output size. If you want your printer to print on an 8x10 paper, be sure to submit the same size. If you do not, prepare yourself to get results that are not what you expect. You have to realize that shrinking or stretching your layout to fit your paper requirement means that the quality of your resolution will be compromised.

Consider the bleed.

Always remember to allow your print brochures to bleed. This means that you have to consider that your printer would have to cut thousands of pieces of your print ads; hence, you need to put your design slightly beyond the parameters of your pages. When done accordingly, your printer will be able to provide you with pages that have solid ink covering even at the edges. This would also mean that your picture or image will not seem like it was cut haphazardly and it remains intact. A bleed of 1/8th inch beyond the edge is advised.

Use high resolution images.

Always remember to submit what your printer asks you to. If you want to have images to come out exactly the same as that of the original then you have to give your brochure printing company with the correct resolution. If not, your picture will come out blurred or pixilated. Submit at least 300dpi for your printer to clearly print full sharp pictures.

Choose excellent quality paper.

If you can, opt for the 100lb stock. Not only is it more substantial than the 80lb paper, but there is also not much difference when it comes to the paper cost. In addition, your target clients will appreciate the professionalism you present them, making them more convinced of your value as a provider of solutions to their needs and wants.

Finally, do not forget to be original and innovative.

Make sure that you come out as a cut above the rest. Carefully consider what you want to say in your brochure printing so that it will not be difficult to convince your target clients of your worth when it comes to giving them the products and services they are looking for.
