What do you mean when you use the term "hijack trance" in sales?
Bob Cobb
Today we cover one of the questions that people sometimes ask of us looking for clarifications of some of the things that we teach in our various products or on the membership site.
And today's question comes to us from Dave Coolant of San Diego, California. And Dave asks:
What do you mean when you use the term 'hijack trance'?
And actually Dave that is a great question. And one of the questions that comes up a lot for hypnotists and hypnotherapists and people who are attempting to use hypnotic influence and persuasion, is the question can people really be hypnotized? Bye
And the answer is absolutely! In fact trance or hypnosis is a very normal and natural state. If you have ever been reading a book and flipped the page over and think to yourself, "what did I just read there?" You were in trance! If you have ever been driving down the road and suddenly find yourself having traveled from your home to your office having not remembering hardly anything about the trip, you were in a driving trance. You turned the process of driving completely over to your unconscious mind. Any time that you daydream, you are in a trance!
So people are in a trance all day, every day! So when we say hijack trance, that simply is developing the sensory acuity to notice what is going on with your clients and prospects and calibrating the experience they have got, and notice when they are slipping into trance. And recognizing that is a phenomenal opportunity for you to start using some of the covert language skills, the embedded command, the hidden suggestions that we teach inside the membership area.
So Dave thanks a lot for your question and we will talk to you again on a future Frequently Asked Questions video.
