Advances in computer software and hardware, improved slim-line television sets and even new gadgets to help around the house; electronics are a big part of our lives and are under constant improvement. From new and improved methods of suction within vacuum cleaners, to charging stations that allow us to charge all of our mobile devices in one go, let’s delve into the realm of some of the new products that we can expect to see in 2010.
Apple’s iTab
Not long ago Apple revealed that the newest product to add to their incredibly popular range of goods would be a tablet computer, known as the iTab. It’s set to compete with users of netbook computers, with the added advantage that later models will come with 3G broadband built in, allowing access to the internet from anywhere in the world. Listen to music, surf the net, do your word processing and even read your favourite books on the go with this device. It’s an Apple product though, so don’t expect it to be cheap! Hopefully once the hype has died down so will the prices, and remember that electronics voucher codes could always help.
Sony’s new smartphone
Sony has started to step into the Apple-dominated world of smartphones, with the promise of a phone that also has great gaming capabilities. You’ll still be able to surf the net, organise your calendar and, of course, talk to people. But with this new addition to the highly competitive market, fans of gaming will also be able to jump onto their favourite PSP games, without the need for a PSP. Gaming on the go has never been more practical, and it will be interesting to see if Sony can create another great product to add to their repertoire.
Panasonic’s new massage chair
Want to splash out on a bit of luxury in your life? Panasonic have launched a new massage chair boasting methods of relieving your tiredness, such as the built in ceramic heater. With 6 different settings to choose from and colour choices of black or white this could be a valued addition to your pad. Unfortunately it’s initially only going to be available in Japan, but watch this space because it might not be long before we see this relaxing chair appearing within homes in the UK.
