Auto insurance rates demonstrate that women are better drivers than men

Without shopping around and comparing rates, it will be hard even for women with good driving record to find the best possible quote.
It may still be a mans world, but not as far as auto insurance is concerned. Men are in fact almost always paying more for their auto insurance than female drivers
Why should female drivers pay less for car insurance?
Statistically speaking women are less likely to be high-risk drivers. Apparently, female drivers are much more likely to obey the law, drive safely and comply with their car insurance requirements.
Men tend to be less safe drivers. It is rare that a woman would intentionally start drving dangerously. It is much less likely for a female driver to jump a red light or overtake dangerously.
Are women considered to be safer drivers?
Statistics show that yes, women are safer drivers than men. There are 2 main reasons for that, female drivers are normally more observant and responsible. Road signs and other drivers behaviour, are things women pay more attention to. It comes as no surprise that being observant means less accidents are caused by female drivers. Statistics have shown men are the cause of accidents more frequently than women by more than 50%.
Being very protective is a characteristic a lot of women have. Often, women drive their kids to school in the morning. The first thing they think of is the safety of their kid, and this makes them more careful.
Another thing women are very protective of, is their jobs. For many women it is hard to land the higher paid positions. Having a traffic violation against them could very well result in the loss of their hard earned job. So, being a careful driver is essential for every mother and working women.
Things may well change in the future as more women pursue careers and there are more stay-at-home dads.. At least for now, women have the right to demand better auto insurance rates.
