Dr James Bicher on Hyperthermia
Dr James Bicher With Hyperthermia
What is Hyperthermia? Hyperthermia is a heat cancer treatment applied locally to tumors, raising tumor temperature to about 42.5 (108) for about 45 to 60 minutes. Heat improves blood circulation and makes tumor cells more susceptible to radiation therapy, killing them more efficiently and quickly. Hyperthermia can be compared with an artificial fever that attacks cancer cells. The combination of both, hyperthermia and low dose radiation makes this therapy the most efficient cancer treatment available today.
Hyperthermia combined with low dose radiation is a very effective treatment for most cases of cancer. The side effects are minimum, and the body has the ability to recover from the low dose radiation in most cases.
Valley Cancer Institute added IMRT capabilities in 2007, to the Hyperthermia plus low dose radiation treatment. IMRT, Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy, is a modality of radiation therapy in which the radiation beam is shaped and targeted only to the tumor area that needs to be treated, avoiding radiation exposure to the surrounded areas. The IMRT treatment therapy is very accurate, and used to deliver precise radiation doses to a malignant tumor or specific areas within the tumor, while minimizing the dose to surrounding normal tissue areas.
Hyperthermia and low dose radiation delivered through IMRT, is an excellent and very effective therapy combination for most superficial cancer tumors, and in many cases they can be treated with a curative intent. In many situations this is the answer to some of the most frequently asked internet questions such as: (1) what is the cure for breast cancer, the cure for prostate cancer, the cure for inflammatory breast cancer, or the cure for head and neck cancer?

About The Author
Since its inception in 1984 Valley Cancer Institute has been committed to the research, development, and clinical use of Hyperthermia, a natural, less toxic cancerocidal modality, to improve cancer treatment results while decreasing side effects of conventional therapies. Hyperthermia and low dose radiation given at the Valley Cancer Institute, is a cutting edge technology delivered with curative intent.
Valley Cancer Institute is one of the largest Hyperthermic research and clinic treatment center in the USA. The Institute encompasses over 7,000 sq. ft. in Los Angeles, California, USA, conveniently located near the Los Angeles International Airport.
Capable of treating up to 30 patients per day, Valley Cancer Institute offers the most advanced hyperthermic technology (hyperthermia alternative cancer treatment) with five Hyperthermia treatment areas, and full radiation and medical oncology departments. Using a HOLISTIC approach, the combination of the natural heat treatment with the other established anti-cancer modalities, allows for good treatment results in most tumors, while markedly decreasing the level of toxicity.
