Numis Network – Read This Before You Join!
For days now, I have been thinking if I should be writing this blog post. A lot of people are asking me about Numis Network, so instead of talking about my view over and over again, I now determined to write this post. It is much better this way so that everyone can read this. On the contrary, I am also pretty worried that I might hurt the feelings of some of my friends and fellow marketers who are with the Numis business. So what I will do, instead of doing a review (I will just let my review team do that so I remain unbias), I am just going to express a few things that people who are thinking about joining the business should know about.
I Am No Expert
I have to pointed out that I am not expert in gold and silver coins and I have nothing against Numis Network. I just want to give you some opinions on what you should look at and ask yourself or your potential sponsor before you join the business.
What Is Numis Network?
For those of you who bumped into this post by accident and do not know what the hell I am talking about, Numis Network is a new MLM company selling graded numismatic silver and gold coins. It has made a buzz online recently because a few of my top online marketing friends are engaged in the business. They have been able to use their online marketing skill to develop a strong marketing wave online. As a result, most of the information you get when you google “Numis Network are all written by distributors and obviously they only say great things about it.
The “Good Points about Numis
From these articles, I read a lot of good things about it. Examples of the good points noted are:
- You are buying and selling money - The autoship is a real asset - It is easy to build - It is a great investment - The graded bonus is the best in the industry - There is nothing better than selling Gold and Silver - No one has done this type of MLM before (apparently I was told that it is not true, you can check it out yourself)
Some of these items are either unquestionably true, obviously wrong or debatable.
As I mentioned earlier, I am going to give you a few questions you want to ask yourself or your potential sponsor before you make your decision.
1. Would you purchase the product without the business opportunity?
This is one of the first querries you have to ask yourself before joining in any MLM business. In other word, would you buy or collect numismatic coins without the MLM opportunity?
2. How unique is the product?
Do they have any unique formula or patent? Can you buy the same products cheaper elsewhere, for example from another numismatic coins company not in MLM? Is Numis Network charging a premium so that they can pay distributors while you can get the same coins elsewhere for less money?
3. Who are the potential competitors?
I know there is none in the MLM arena at the moment. However, can other MLM companies go into the same market easily to compete with Numis Network? Can a large MLM company like Amway partners with another numismatic coin company and build a similar business model easily?
4. What is the payout percentage?
MLM compensation plans are difficult and it is not simple to compare one to another. The one thing you can compare is the payout percentage. A normal MLM company pay out around 50% to their distributors. So what is Numis Network’s payout percentage? Numis Network uses a binary compensation plan. What are the pros and cons of binary?
5. Is the product overpriced?
To be honest, most MLM products are more or less overpriced. However, for a lot of MLM products, it is not easy to really know how much they are overpriced because there is no comparable product on the market. Lets take a nutritional juice for example, the company can argue that they have a original patented formula and the other products in the market are not the same as theirs. The story is not the same with Numis Network and numismatic coins because you can buy very similar, if not the same coins somewhere else. Therefore it is necessary to compare the price to see if you are paying a huge premium for it.
6. Is the commission mainly from inviting new distributors or from product sale?
Will your Numis network income go down tremendously if you or your team stop recruiting? Will the sale of gold and silver coins alone sustains your level of income? Do you make more money from the joining fee or product sale?
7. What happens in recession?
In recession, pure gold and silver usually retains its value. What about numismatic coins? If you do not understand, numismatic coins’ value is not based on the quantity of gold and silver in the coin, it is based on the rarity and historic value. So if you market the coin for its pure metal value, you will get less than half of what you paid for. Will they stand as strong as gold and silver bullions in recession? Will its value decrease when people are struggling to pay their mortgage and put food on their table? There are a lot of Gold and Silver numismatic coins versus bullion articles out there you can find on the Internet.
I am hoping that I have given you some good insights here. But, in the end, it is not just about the several factors like, company, the product or how good you can market. There are still many others which will judge you if you succeed or fail in network marketing.
