There are a number of programs or plans that assert, and they may be 100% correct, that they are the fastest diet program available. Many of them use calorie reduction as their main method to reduce their clients weight. But I cannot answer that it is the only way to reduce waist size fast.
But let me say this about Calorie Reduction. Reducing the calories you consume is a natural and common sense strategy to reduce your waist size, because after all it, is the number of calories that you eat that helps cause fat creation in your body. The logic goes like this - Fewer calories naturally reduces the amount of fat producing nutrition we intake and we should lose weight and reduce waist size, and more calories decreases our chances to lose weight.
While it works like I suggested, you need to understand that restricting your calories to lose weight, must be done the right way, in the proper quantities and at the proper times, or you might just end up gaining weight at first, then gaining it all back later on.
Here's how it works. Your metabolism eventually slows down when you restrict calories too much. Thus with these fastest diet plans that have you cutting calories too fast, you may see an initial reduction in weight, but once the metabolism change catches up with your calorie reduction, the body will no longer eliminate sufficient fat to allow you to keep the weight off.
So the way that you use calorie reduction as a way to reduce waist size, and maintain it, is to do it in such a manner that your body doesn't have a need to adjust it's metabolism.
This can be done, by using a method of shifting calories. Which essentially means changing the number of times you eat daily, changing the actual time when you eat, reducing the number of calories you consume to a smaller amount over a longer period of time, and eating the right kinds of nutrition.
Losing weight by reducing calories can be a little complicated just like the dread calorie counting has been thought of. When losing weight is complicated we don't do it.
That is why there are diet plans, programs and systems available to us, to put everything into perspective with a proper plan, so that we don't fail due to complication. Some of these plans shift calories as I've outlined and others emphasize exercise and other methods to lose weight. But being armed with information you'll be able to choose wisely.
