Downtown Roseville Homes, Roseville short sale, Bar Basic, Onyx
Dave Roe
One of the cool things about living in Roseville is seeing the impressive changes that are occurring within the city. For example, in Old Town Roseville, recent street and storefront façade projects have really improved the look of historic buildings from the early1900s. These enhancements have effectively brought in new businesses that cater to fun-loving folks who enjoy a game of pool and tasty pint on the weekend, or a fresh slice of pizza-on-go.
Homeowners are also benefitting from these improvements, as surrounding neighborhood property values solidify. This location is now becoming one the hip-living-places in Roseville!
Last week, I received a firsthand look at a house near old town that has recently been made available to savvy real estate buyers.
This bungalow is located on Grove Street, just a block away from Old Town and is in the final stages of being remodeled. With old world charm and warm colored Granite counter tops and Travertine Flooring throughout, the kitchen and bath boasts a smart contrast between warm and cool. Compliments also include built–in cherry cabinets and brand new stainless-steel appliances.
The seller owns a handful of commercial and residential properties in the area. So, he has a good feel for this neighborhood and an eye for hot properties! He happens to be making the improvements himself and has recently finished installation on a bunch of brand new items; such as flooring, HVAC, game room completion, bonus room for kids, front yard landscaping, gutters, stainless steel washer/dryer, and refrigerator.
What I like most about this property is that it is located in an area that is zoned for both residential and commercial use.
