How Writing Articles Using Article Spinners is bad for Article Marketing
Peter Nisbet
Along with the increase in popularity and effectiveness of article marketing in internet marketing, article spinners are once again rearing their ugly head as the lazy man's way of writing articles. The problem is that the lazy man loses and so do those that use that ineffective software.
Professional internet marketers will rarely use article spinners as part of their article marketing strategy, and you will have to look very hard to find any spun articles on page #1 of Google. Yes, I know, I have read the testimonials as well, but how many of these testimonials have included contact details? Without that they are worthless.
You are better writing articles yourself than using article spinners to generate articles from so-called synonyms, as if Google's LSI algorithm can't tell the difference between real and false synonyms from the semantics on the page. I have checked out a fair number of article spinners and have yet to find one that offers articles that actually make sense without them having to be edited.
One of the problems is that very few so-called synonyms are actually so in all contexts in which a specific word can be used. Not only does the software not know the context, but very frequently, neither does the user of the software. When writing articles, most people use language that they understand but when they are asked to enter a number of synonyms they will get out a dictionary or thesaurus, or refer to thesaurus.com and go on to make a schoolboy howler.
On thesaurus.com there are no synonyms in the list offered that can be used in place of the word 'article' in 'article marketing'. There are literally thousands of examples such as this, where a synonym might mean basically the same in one context, but not generally, and you are then relying on people knowing the difference - let alone software knowing the difference!
Writing articles manually is the only way to tackle article marketing the proper way, and the only way in which you have full control over the quality of your writing. I have come across articles in directories written by real people that were so bad I would never think of giving their website a visit. Goodness knows what articles written by software would look like - well, in fact, I do know because I have used them and it is grim.
It is far better for you to learn how to write articles yourself, and by doing so writing articles will offer a lot more traffic to your website or blog than an article spinner will. As far as Google PageRank is concerned, I accept that spun articles can give you an initial boost, but they don't do much for your human credibility.
If you choose your keywords wisely, you can dominate your chosen keywords and get high Google listings by writing one article every two weeks on the keywords concerned and including links to your home page plus one internal page in your resource. I don't mean obscure keywords, but keywords that get at least from 2000+ uses per month.
That's how I do it, and my Google listings speak for themselves. You can do it too by learning how to write articles without article spinners, get a decent name for yourself and use article marketing as it should be used - honestly, by providing well written articles offering good information plus the offer of more to follow by clicking to the website.
