The Beach House is ideal self-catering accommodation in Whitstable on the beach in the quiet hamlet of Seasalter on the “Oyster Coast.” Just outside the idyllic coastal town of Whitstable, this detached, two bed, spacious, glass fronted family home provides a comfortable living atmosphere for 6 people.
It has an enviable position with uninterrupted views behind and in front of the house. Behind, you look over beautiful unspoiled countryside, with acres of salt mashes and a patchwork of public footpaths waiting to be explored.
In front you have direct access to miles of beaches and nature reserves that promise hours of coastal walking and bird watching pleasure. The house has amazing views over the sea instilling an instant sense of calm and relaxation.
The Beach House has a light, airy, warm feel about it. It is equipped for self catering, decorated in a modern contemporary style and furnished to a high standard. Local art and photography aim to create that coastal inspired base for a relaxing stay.
The house is well equipped including central heating, a sofa bed, a Bose sound system, flat screened television, plus a DVD player, washing machine with built in dryer, dishwasher and off street parking for 3 cars.
The ground floor consists of a twin bedroom, bathroom and a large open-plan area for cooking, dinning and living. The large dining table can comfortably seat 6 people. Sliding patio doors lead you to a large raised oak deck area encased by glass panels. This provides the perfect spot to watch the beautiful sunsets over the Isle of Sheppey whilst bar-be-queing the locally bought fish.
The first floor consists of a light bright loft style upper bedroom with ensuite bathroom and commanding views. You can lie in bed and observe the landscape changing with the shifting tides.
Whether its sunrise or sunset, winter or summer, stormy or calm, you have a front row seat on nature’s stage. To top it all, your local family pub, just a few minutes drive along the coast, is The Sportsman, voted Shepherd Neame "Good Food Pub of the Year" two years running!There are great facilities for the children providing hours of traditional seaside fun and entertainment.
Sand castles and shell pictures (the beach is made up of sand, shingle and a million sea shells) Picnics on the beach at the bottom of the garden. Crabbing (We have the best crabbing spot close by) and skimming competitions to name a few.
The two bed retreat is all you can ever wish for from a ‘beach house’ and more!
