Keys To Sending Light Effectively
Duncan Sequeira
All lightworkers are committed to the practice of sending light to the planet, people and individuals. It's a given. The question is, how can we hone our light sending so that it becomes highly potent and effective?
First let me dispel any doubts you might have about the ethics of sending light. I have heard some say that we have no right to send light to people unless they give us their permission. I would emphatically say that not only is it right and good to send the light, but also, that if we claim to be on a spiritual path, then it is our duty to send the light.
Does the sun ask us for permission before it shines on us? No way. The sun shines on everybody, good or evil. Spiritual light is linked to the soul level. When we send light to someone we are linking with the soul of the person. And the soul knows best. The soul knows the karmic debts of the person and will only allow change if this is in line with their evolution. If we send the light and the person it is directed at is not receptive, the light will just return to us.
In any case, whenever we think of someone we are sending them energy. Energy follows thought. So the energy reaches them in the form of colours, shapes and sound. So we might as well be conscious and send the best that we can.
Sending light needs to be done with all our senses. To make sure that our light sending is having the best impact, we need to be aware that light is sound, scent, life, taste and vision. When you send light try to sense its sound. If you could hear light, what would it sound like? If you could smell light what would it smell like to you? If you could drink light, what would its taste be like? If you just visualise light it can be quite a static operation. I visualise light as a dynamic, white fire! After all the world was created through the agency of light!
No doubt we all prefer some senses to another. Some might enjoy tuning in and identifying with the sound of light. Others will use one of the other senses. It is difficult to be aware of all senses at the same time but already when you use two or three of your senses when sending light, you are undoubtedly having more of an impact.
