Procter & Gamble heiress gives away her entire fortune for God
Kendra Gamble - A Gamble for God
Born into wealth and privilege, Kendra Gamble, who is a great, great granddaughter of one of the founders of Procter & Gamble, had an extraordinary life. She was raised by a family that loved her. She went to the finest schools and summered in one of the most elite communities in America. Still something was missing, something she could not name and would not find for years. Gamble said, "I would never have guessed my own future. I would never have thought that giving away all of my entire $10 million fortune would be a part of bringing me riches beyond my wildest dreams. I had no idea that an Incarnation of God was waiting for me."
How could she know these things? She had an idyllic childhood. She fondly recalls, "The high point of growing up was summers in Upper Michigan at Harbor Point, where every year, we gathered with other families like the Fords, Wrigleys, and Reynolds. I loved being with my family, being in the woods, on the lake, and doing sports all day."
Kendra Gamble was a debutante. She attended Miss Porter's School, a strict all girls school whose alumnae includes Jackie Kennedy. "Saturday nights we dressed up in black velvet skirts and white blouses to attend the Prescott Program with guests such as Robert Frost, Hal Holbrook, and Yale's Whiffenpoofs singing group."
She married her older brother's best friend. She recalls, "It was when my marriage ended in divorce that I began to break out of the dream in which I'd been living." She admits, "That was one of the hardest times in my life. He was my love and best friend, and I thought we'd be together forever."
After the divorce, Kendra Gamble threw herself into her family and volunteer work. She especially loved being with her children. She raised millions of dollars for The Hunger Project. She did helicopter skiing and ski racing. Still, as she said, "Something was unfulfilled in my heart."
In 1992 Kendra Gamble overheard someone talking about a special seminar saying it was an opportunity for full enlightenment in this lifetime. She notes, "My heart started pounding. Somehow I knew it was true. I had to attend this event."
"I was 46 years old and materially my life was about as good as it can be. I had what many people want, wonderful children, a loving husband (my second marriage) and family, and personal wealth. I had health, looks, and friends. I had the opportunity to do almost anything I wanted with just about anyone. Most people thought I had it made. But I felt something was missing."
Gamble found what was missing during the 3rd day of the seminar which was called the Miracle of Love Intensive. On that day, she connected to "energy and love I had never felt before. A sense of freedom and peace came over me. I felt and let go of deep pain. I was flooded with tears and then flooded with love. It was there I had my first real, personal connection with God, and I met my Spiritual Master, Kalindi G." Kendra Gamble came to know that the source of the energy, the love, and the truth she felt in the Intensive and increasingly since, is from a current day Incarnation of God, Lord Gourasana, The Golden One.
Since 1992 Kendra Gamble has seriously pursued her own spiritual transformation spending extended periods of time in prayer and doing the Modern-Day Meditation®. She has experienced what it means to face and let go of suffering and separation; to find freedom from limiting beliefs; to experience deep, lasting love. "These are riches beyond measure," she says. "They are worth everything to me. Truly they are God's gifts for the world."
Kendra Gamble is writing a book of her personal journey, titled: "A Gamble for God “ How Procter & Gamble Heiress Found God"
Ever since Gamble's first Intensive, her desire has been to have everyone know about the current day Incarnation of God, Lord Gourasana. Now 18 years later she prepares to bring The Announcement to the world. "On 10-10-10, (October 10, 2010), I will be making The Announcement of the presence of Lord Gourasana and making known the gifts here for all of us. An Incarnation of God has come again to this earth, bringing the love, power, and special assistance for the help needed at this time in the world, and for people searching for love, for peace, for Home and true enlightenment in this lifetime. This Incarnation of God is making possible the fulfillment I was looking for personally, and bringing the real love that people are so starved for; and over time will bring about the end of the horrendous, senseless suffering in this world."
