How to Fix Mobile Phones Damaged in Water

The unfortunate incident of having one’s mobile phone drenched in water can happen anytime. You may simply forget to take it out of your jeans pocket and send it off to the washer, or may simply walk out into the rain oblivious Nokia repairs phone is very well exposed in spite of it being in your shirt pocket. And by the time you realize it, it has already had a few moments under the water surface. In most cases, the obvious is to replace your phone with a new one, but if you act quickly and prudently, that may not be the case.
More often than not, mobiles are damaged not due to the water itself, but due to the incorrect way of treating the phone after it has been taken out from water. Although the intentions are well meant, wrong handling can damage the phone beyond repair. Here are few tips to remember how to dry your mobile in the correct way.
Samsung repairs out the phone from the water, which is the first and the obvious step, shake out all the water without banging it on any surface and without dropping it.
Next, remove the battery at once. There is nothing worse than a battery connected to a power outlet while it is wet, and if you try switching it on or charging it, then the heat from the electricity is sure to melt and damage all the components inside.
Dry the excess water with a paper towel and take care not to turn it mushy so that it tears off in bits and goes further into the nooks and crevices of the phone.
Instead of using a hair dryer which exerts pressure, use a vacuum cleaner to dry your phone. A hair dryer will push the air further into the crevices of the phone, and water will more readily enter the nooks before drying, and by that time the parts can be seriously damaged.
Remove the SIM card at once and do not expose it to the heat. Just pat it dry and keep it aside.
Do not take the phone apart in a hurry if you are not sure how to put it back. If you can, then pat the individual components dry without scratching them.
Keep turning the phone every few hours so that the excess water may seep and flow out from any opening.
If all else fails, and your phone still does not switch on, then you have to take it to an authorized dealer and get it checked by the professionals. At least, you know that you have done all that could have been done.
