James Thomas Webb Teaches, The Educated and Jobless Survival Tactics
I received a message from a friend today in response to the horrible conditions in the inner city relative to shootings, joblessness and drug addiction. While he stated he knew no people dying from "crack cocaine", he did know many people who were well educated and when they call for job interviews they did not even receive a call back. Even on jobs which they really did not want, but were willing to take.
My advise to him was to return to the inner cities where there are tens of thousands of vacant homes crying out for educated minds such as his to purchase these homes. Then I told him to go out and hire first tier labor workers desperately in need of jobs to repair them. After they are repaired they should easily be able to sell them, yes even in this economic climate, to those needing an affordable quality home.
In this process with the right tutelage they would easily be able to turn their communities around, employ local workers, provide affordable homes and create a quasi corporate environment for the employment of him and as well as, his well educated friends.
Sometimes in life we experience short term disappointed, and feel that God has taken us into drowning waters only to later find out that he was only trying to cleanse our minds not drown our bodies. Maybe for this new generation a Job is NOT what they need. Maybe for this new generation JOBS are what God wants them, to be creating.
I also admonished the young brother to keep studying, especially the principles which will help him and all of his friends sustain long term true emancipation through creating their own financial freedom.
